Beth Nakamura is owner of Kilohana Events and Travel, a full-service travel designing and events business specializing in custom, curated itineraries and in group travel.

Beth, who is Native Hawaiian, was born and raised in Hawai'i, began traveling with her grandparents at the age of nine. They instilled a love of travel, curiosity about the world, and respect for other cultures and people. Beth currently resides with her husband in Washington, D.C., and has lived in Boston, New York City, Phoenix, and San Antonio.

She enjoys traveling to watch live sports events and has attended the MLB World Series and All-Star Week, NBA Finals, WNBA Finals, U.S. Open (tennis), LPGA Drive On Championship, Solheim Cup, WM Phoenix Open, NASCAR Cup Series Championship, F1 at Circuit of the Americas, NCAA Men's Final Four, and the NCAA Women's Final Four. In 2024, she and her husband traveled to Paris for their first Summer Olympic Games.
